What's in it?
Only rendered kidney suet. Our unscented Baby & Mom Pure Butter has no essential oils, fragrance, preservatives or stabilizers, and it's edible grade.
Can I use it on myself while nursing?
Yes. It's one jar for both of you. Moms use it on cracked nipples, and because it's edible grade there's no need to wash it off before nursing.
Does it smell like beef?
No. We render the tallow low and slow, three times, so the beefy smell is gone, and Baby & Mom has no fragrance added at all. It's pure tallow and nothing else.
How do I use this for cradle cap?
Moms rub a little into the scalp, leave it about 15 minutes, then gently brush the flakes loose and wash it out with a mild baby shampoo.
